The Colonial Group, Inc. Art GalleryOur Art Gallery, home to The Museum’s private collection of aviation art , is a spectacular setting for your next meeting or dinner, be it corporate or social. It is also a lovely private room for Wedding Receptions, with plenty of space for dancing. This 3000-square foot room has a windowed wall looking into the Museum’s Combat Gallery of historical aircraft, including our new B-17, as well as several other planes; both full-size and scale models. Handsome custom made drapes can be closed to make this room more private and intimate. Located on the main level, it is available throughout the day and evening hours for rental. Its capacity is 150 for a dinner, 200 in a theatre style arrangement, and 100 in a classroom style set up. For Wedding receptions The Art Gallery can accommodate 130 guests Exciting, private, and very accessible, this is one of the Museum’s most popular rooms for all types of events. The Colonial Group, Inc. Art Gallery rents for $850.00 for a full day or evening and $550.00 for a half-day.
The Flight RoomThis room is perfect for smaller corporate and business events. It is located on the second floor on the South side of the Museum, just off the Mini Rotunda. Take the stairs or elevator to this two-room suite and you will be delighted with this accommodation. The Flight Room will accommodate 36 classroom style or u-shape and it’s anteroom is the perfect location for a breakfast or lunch buffet. The Flight Room may be rented at any time throughout the day or night. A full day or evening rental is $350.00 and a half day is $250.00.
The Hunter Board RoomNamed after Brigadier General Frank O.D. Hunter, this executive style boardroom seats 10. Enjoy a private setting for your meeting, have lunch sent in, or take a break and dine in the Museum’s Pub. Available at any time, the rental fee is $250.00 for a full day or $175 for a half day.
The General Lewis E. Lyle RotundaOur largest room, The Rotunda, will accommodate groups of up to 300 for a seated or buffet dinner; 260 with dancing. This magnificent circular room places it’s guests in awe upon arrival with it’s tiled floor, polished mahogany walls, soaring 30-foot ceilings topped by a 50’ parachute and flags from every state. It is the perfect location for all your larger evening events. It is particularly popular for Wedding Receptions. Events in The Rotunda may only begin at 5:30 PM or later. The rental fee is $1500.00.
The High Wycombe RoomThis spacious room (48’ × 42’) is located on the second floor of the Museum; accessible by one of our grand staircases or by elevator. It is the only room on the second floor of the north side of the building making it very private. It has an interior balcony, which overlooks The General Lewis E. Lyle Rotunda and it is available throughout the day and evening hours. The High Wycombe will accommodate 90 to100 at rounds for dining, 150 guests theatre style, or 70 in a classroom style set up. U-shape and board room style set ups are also easily accommodated. The balcony is a perfect setting for food and beverage or as a registration area. For social events, The High Wycombe with it’s warm wall sconces, art prints and mirrors is particularly inviting. The High Wycombe rents for $650.00 for a full day or evening rental and $450.00 for a half-day.
The Museum PubAfter a busy day of meetings, break to The Museum Pub. Enjoy an end-of-day reception with your favorite beverages, hors d’oeuvres, or dinner. Styled after a quaint British Pub, it will accommodate 50 guests seated or 75 reception style. The Pub is available Sunday through Thursday after 4:30pm for $400 and $800 on Friday evening.
The Chapel of Fallen Eagles
This stunning replica of an English countryside chapel is the perfect setting for any private service.
With a wealth of old world character, remarkably detailed stain glass windows and an antique organ, the Chapel is a picturesque backdrop for your wedding ceremony. Its peaceful ambiance also lends itself to services of remembrance.
It is set in the midst of our Memorial gardens and is available throughout the day and evening for a rental fee of $600.00. It will seat up to 100 guests. Just outside the Chapel is our Memorial Gardens which allow for breathtaking photo opportunities.
For our Business clients, we like to think we can meet all your off-site meeting needs. We have wireless internet; all rooms have either built-in or portable screens as well as telephone jacks for conference calling; sound systems, and we have audio-visual rentals available. Our rooms are private and quite soundproof and our rental rates include tables and chairs as necessary, their set up and breakdown. For a truly distinctive and memorable experience, arrangements may be made to rent the entire Museum with exclusivity as well as after-hours private tours. For Social events, we offer complete planning services including Wedding Coordination. We also offer complimentary dressing rooms for our Brides and complimentary rehearsal time as well.
