Memorials
There are many ways to memorialize loved ones at the National Museum of the Mighty Eighth Air Force. One way is to place a lasting memorial in the Mighty Eighth Air Force Memorial Gardens.
Personalized Benches
Remember your special veteran by sponsoring a bench in the Memorial Gardens of the Museum. These memorials are placed through out the gardens and provide rest for our visitors.
Living Trees
Another way to remember your veteran is to sponsor a living tree that will be planted and nurtured in the Memorial Garden. These living tributes are placed throughout the garden and provide shade and rest for our visitors.
Wall of Valor (Please note: The Wall of Valor is currently full!)
The Wall of Valor Memorial provides personalized plaques honoring courageous U.S. service personnel who sacrificed so much in World War II. The memorial ensures that the legacy of these veterans is never forgotten as the memorial is seen by thousands of visitors each year.
Tribute Towers
Similar to the Wall of Valor, the Tribute Towers in the Garden of Folded Wings provides a permanent acknowledgement of men and women who support the mission of the Mighty Eighth.
Vietnam Memorial
You may purchase an engraved brick dedicated to a veteran of the War in Southeast Asia.
